something in the way...
I really love this impromptu shot of the Beatles - taken just before they crossed Abbey Road in the iconic album cover photo. It feels like a glimpse into another time, in another world.
I saw this photo this weekend via Jo as well, and thought the same thing! I love the elderly woman (at least, she looks elderly), as though she's giving last-minute advice to the boys before the shoot. (I also privately noted that Paul is wearing sandals, which he evidently kicked off before crossing, which made me think about that time we became - very briefly - obsessed with the whole Paul-Is-Dead thing, and went to the music store down town with mirrors to check out all the album cover clues. NERDS!)
