So, a couple of weeks ago, I started growing a Chia Pet at work. Some of my colleagues are making fun of me... "Weren't those popular in like, the 90s?". Well I never had one in like, the 90s, so I'm making up for it now. It's a Scooby-Doo chia pet... to be honest, it reminds me of my dog (because, you know, they're both dogs) and it makes me laugh, not to mention it's probably the closest I'll ever get to having him at work with me.

Because I know you're all dying of curiousity right now -- here is a photo, taken on the day I did the planting (and I am using the term planting very loosely):

And since everyone loves a good before and after... Here's Scooby - day fifteen! As you can see he's developed quite an impressive afro. There really aren't any words for the pride I am feeling right now.

Well there you have it folks. No one really tells you what to do after you've successfully grown a full coat on your chia pet. I guess I might have to shave his head at somepoint soon... at this point it's honestly getting a little unruly. I can't take him anywhere anymore.
